TURN AROUND !

At my last appointment, Gyne took one look at my pelvis x-ray and said your pelvis is brilliant but .... Baby's head is not bent in the right way. Meaning it is impossible for you to have this baby normally if baby doesn't turn round. What we are going to do is try and turn it round for you. So this is what we did on Monday:

13h15 - Admission to hospital
13h30 - In the OR / Delivery room
14h00 - Injection of drug to relax uterus
14h00 à 15h30 - Monitoring + My BP + My Heart Beat. Because of drug my heart was beating at 120bpm
15h30 - Doctor arrives- Scan - They try to turn baby round. Basically they press very hard on your belly and one asks you to relax. They tried only twice and gave up. Apparently baby hides high up in my rib cage clod to the placenta, which makes the manoeuvre a tad dangerous. Am very disappointed. But I half expected it. Baby's been enjoying hiding in my rib cage for 1 month 1/2. Why would he trun round now ???

15h30 - 17h00 - Monitoring again - My heart beat gets better. No contractions and baby is well

17h00 - 18h30 - We are moved to another room where baby is monitored again.

18h30 - We leave at long last.

Him was with me and was great support. Without him, I would have been borde to death !
