Après l'accouchement, comment les choses se passent-elles ?

Durant les deux heures suivant l’accouchement, vous restez en salle de naissance. La sage-femme et/ou l’infirmière surveillent votre tension artérielle, votre pouls, votre température, les saignements vaginaux et bien sûr l’involution utérine, c’est-à-dire la manière dont votre utérus se contracte pour reprendre petit à petit sa place originelle.
Mais c’est aussi un moment privilégié pour faire connaissance avec bébé, primordial pour bien commencer votre allaitement maternel si cela est votre choix ; en effet, la mise au sein précoce est une garantie pour son bon démarrage. La sage-femme vous expliquera les différentes positions pour allaiter, comment présenter le bout de sein, la durée des tétées, etc.…
Avec papa, profitez de ce moment de repos, de doux contacts avec bébé découvrant son nouvel environnement.
