Quelle position puis-je adopter pour accoucher ?

De façon classique, la position gynécologique est la plus usitée. Elle permet de bien suivre la progression de bébé et de garder un enregistrement correct de son rythme cardiaque durant la phase d’expulsion. Les lits d’accouchement ont été améliorés pour permettre un plus grand confort à la future maman : un matelas plus épais, les fameux "étriers" remplacés par des repose-pieds, possibilité de modifier la position du dos.
Mais n’hésitez pas à en parler à la sage-femme si la position accroupie ou sur le côté ou à quatre pattes vous sied mieux.
