Est-ce que je vais être assise, couchée ? Est-ce que je peux bouger ?

A vous de voir dans quelle position vous supportez le mieux les contractions utérines. N’hésitez pas à en parler à la sage-femme et à mettre en application ce vous avez appris au cours de votre préparation à l’accouchement.
Si une anesthésie péridurale est mise en place :
Certaines maternités pratiquent l’anesthésie péridurale ambulatoire, ce qui vous permet de vous déplacer tout en ayant une analgésie active. Mais la plupart du temps, la péridurale demande la position semi-assise ou allongée sur un côté. Le contrôle du rythme cardiaque foetal et de votre tension artérielle est nécessaire. Une perfusion est placée pour éviter tout effet secondaire de cette anesthésie ; les déplacements peuvent donc être plus restreints.
